Macron: The Lives of the Unvaccinated Will Become Even More Difficult

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced his intention to make life harder for those not vaccinated against COVID-19. There will be no compulsory vaccination, but access to social life will be limited, the head of state said. From January 15, the non-immunized will not be able to enter restaurants, cafes, theaters and cinemas.

Macron's statement comes amid a delay in the vote on the Green Certificates Act. It forbids non-immunized people from participating in most of social life. The document is expected to be adopted later this week, but has already angered opponents of the vaccines. The French prime minister has said he has received death threats because of the law.
