The first delivery of vaccines for children aged 5 to 11 will arrive today. About 42,000 doses of Pfizer are expected to arrive at three locations - in Sofia, Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo. The vaccines will then be distributed throughout the country.
However, the jab will not be distributed all over the 360 points in the country, but at selected 5 points in each area, in order to avoid disposing of unused open vials. The pediatric dose is one third of that for adults.
