Young people from Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia will paint together in the center of Plovdiv

The event is part of the strategy of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation and Dr. Milen Vrabevski for bringing children together on both sides of the border.

The team of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation and Children's Art Studio "St. Cyril and Methodius", Bitola is pleased to invite you to the opening of the children's art event "Little Montmartre 2022 in Plovdiv", which will be attended by talented young people from Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia. The opening will take place on 30.06 at 10:30 on the Rowing Canal in the city of Plovdiv (in the area of ​​the Youth Center).

"Little Montmartre" is a traditional event organized by the Children's Art Studio "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Bitola, which will be held for the first time outside the borders of RS Macedonia at the invitation of the founder and chairman of the Bulgarian Memory Foundation Dr. Milen Vrabevski. Within 5 days over 20 young artists from our neighbor and from Bulgaria will have the opportunity to paint traditional and old urban architecture not only in the oldest living city in Europe, but also in Sofia, where young people will spend a whole day.

After the end of "Little Montmartre 2022 in Plovdiv" the drawings will be presented to the Municipality of Plovdiv and Sofia Municipality, and the best 8 will receive special gifts provided by the Bulgarian Memory Foundation, which hosts the event.

The visit of the Children's Art Studio "St. Cyril and Methodius", Bitola is part of the long-term strategy of Dr. Milen Vrabevski to maintain good relations between RS Macedonia and Bulgaria, including the organization of annual seminars and events for career development of young people from both sides of the border.
