Petar Haralampiev, wo is the former chairman of the State Agency of Bulgarians Abroad, has been prosecuted for leading an organized criminal group from the beginning of July 2017 to October 29, 2018. In this capacity as a chairman, he personally requested and received bribes for the issuance without legal basis of certificates of Bulgarian origin to foreign nationals - in some cases express - even within one working day.
The specialised court will hear Haralampiev’s case at 10.00 am today. IMRO leader Krassimir Karakachanov and NFSB chairman Valeri Simeonov were called as witnesses.
