An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 on the Richter scale was registered in the region of Kardzhali, the European Seismological Center announced.
The quake was felt at 2:35 am last night with an epicenter 11 km northeast of Kardzhali and 74 km southeast of Plovdiv, with a depth of 12 km.
