An evening of authentic flamenco, virtuoso guitar performances, high vocal parts, fiery rhythm, and stunning Spanish dances await Plovdiv residents and guests of the city today at the Ancient Theater from 7.30 pm. This exclusive experience will be offered to us by Edu Vico Septet - a flamenco band led by the star of Spanish guitar - Edu Vico! The musician is well known to the connoisseurs of virtuoso guitar mastery in Plovdiv because he has already visited the city under the hills once, as a participant in the International Guitar Festival.
Now Edu is back to reward his audience with a great show - we will see flamenco in its true power. Edu Vico will take the stage with a troupe of fine musicians, singers, and fiery dancers who are part of the Spanish National Ballet. A passionate evening awaits us, in which the connoisseurs of the Spanish guitar will hear one of its legendary masters, and the fans of flamenco will receive it in its authentic form. Edu Vico is a student of the legends Juan Gomez "Chicuelo" and Diego Cortez.
The day after that on June 18, again at the Ancient Theater at 7.30 pm we will listen to the most beautiful voice of fado - the magnetic Portuguese Carmine!
The concerts are held in partnership and with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv, organizer of Blue Hills Events, and are part of the Music of the Ages forum.
