Drivers who have to travel in Western Bulgaria and through mountain passes, to prepare their cars for winter conditions. It is snowing on the sections of the Trakia and Hemus highways in the Sofia region, on the Struma Motorway in the Pernik region, on the Petrohan pass, in the Sofia and Kyustendil districts. 74 snowplows are working on the road surfaces in the areas with snow to ensure safe travel for drivers on national roads. The treatment of the pavements continues especially in the wet places, where there is a precondition for slippery and icing. If necessary, additional machines will be included in the cleaning, the Road Agency announced.
