Pfizer has applied for approval of its Covid-19 vaccine for children under 5 years of age. The US health regulator will begin the procedure as soon as possible. According to the authorities, immunization of the youngest may start at the end of February.
The company added that studies on the third dose on children from 6 months to 5 years of age are still ongoing.
