The World Health Organization warned that Europe is once again the epicenter of the Covid-19 pandemic.
By February, the number of deaths could rise by another half a million, said the head of WHO for Europe, blaming the insufficient number of people being vaccinated. The alleviation of some of the measures has also contributed to an increase in the number of infections.
Over the last month, the rate of immunization on the continent has gradually declined. In Spain, however, 80 percent of citizens are vaccinated with two doses, and in Germany and France - about 67%. Bulgaria is in last place.
