Studio Karakashyan's artist masterclass series is back with a new dose of knowledge

In 2021-2022, the Studio Karakashyan team launched a program of master classes to develop not only artistic aptitudes, but also the whole set of additional skills that an artist must possess in order to be uncompromising. After a successful first season with lecturers Mila Mihova, Kosta Karakashyan, Todor Burganov, Vihra Shopova, Elena Sergova and musical artists Acrylics, the program is back with new exciting topics.

Artist Development Masterclasses is a program that aims to transform the way young artists in Bulgaria approach their careers. Classes will be held monthly with special guest speakers to unlock untapped potential and develop the real skills needed for a career in the arts: financial literacy, goal setting, developing stage and camera presence, building a strong personal brand and others.

On October 22, the start of the new season of the series of classes will be given by Nadezhda Petrova, Head of Institutional Client Management at Nexo, who will hold a workshop on the topic "How to build a good financial culture?"

Nadezhda has extensive international experience in the best standards for the integration and transition of corporations to digital assets. He holds a degree in Statistics and Finance from the University of Glasgow and today leads the Institutional Clients department at Nexo, where he and his team focus on innovating digital asset offerings by implementing cutting-edge financial mechanisms. In her daily work, she stimulates companies to increase their commercial potential, and in the upcoming master class she will give a more personal perspective to this key topic for professional development.

"The first master classes were a great success. We had participants who found their mentors during the events and made valuable contacts. After the class on communication with the media and journalists, the work of some participants was reflected in various publications, and others set specific professional goals and were able to quickly realize them. We are excited about the speakers we have invited in the new season and we can't wait to get started" share the organizers of the program Kosta Karakashyan and Yana Stefanova.

For the second year, partners are the innovative event and ticketing platforms Evedo and Plentix and Kitchen59, who provide their cozy rooftop space for the exciting meetings. The classes are realized with the financial support of the National Fund "Culture", program "Program for the restoration and development of private cultural organizations".

Artist Development Masterclass with Nadezhda Petrova will be held on October 22 (Saturday) between 1-4 p.m. at Kitchen59's Rooftop Bar, 59 Tsar Boris III Blvd.
